Air Force Association (AFA)

MainStream GS has been a member of the Air Force Association for over four years. The AFA is an independent, nonprofit, civilian education organization that promotes public understanding of aerospace power and the pivotal role it plays in the security of the nation. AFA published Air Force Magazine, conducts national symposia and disseminates information through outreach programs. It sponsors professional development seminars and recognizes excellence in the education and aerospace fields through national awards programs. AFA presents scholarships and grants to Air Force active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members and their dependents; and awards educator grants to promote science and math education at the elementary and secondary school level. Additionally, AFA publishes a wide range of materials.

Association of the US Army (AUSA)

MainStream GS is a proud member of the Association of the U.S. Army. Since 1950, the AUSA has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America's Army and the men and women who serve. AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army - Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national. The mission of the AUSA is to represent every American Soldier by being the voice for all components of America's Army, fostering public support of the Army's role in national security and providing professional education and information programs.

Logistics Officers Association (LOA)

MainStream GS has been a member of LOA for over four years. LOA is comprised of over 3,200 military officers and civilians in logistics fields around the globe. The purpose of the LOA is to enhance the military logistics professions. LOA provides an open forum to promote quality logistical support and logistics officer professional development.

MainStream GS is a proud member of the Business Civic Leadership Center. The BCLC is a 501(c) 3 affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business federation. BCLC is the U.S. Chamber's resource and voice for businesses and their social and philanthropic interests. The BCLC addresses social issues that affect business, including corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, nonprofit and social service effectiveness, globalization, community investment, and disaster assistance. BCLC's vision is for the positive role of business in society to be understood and advanced. MainStream GS is a longtime member of the Project Management Institute. For nearly 40 years PMI has advocated on behalf of project professionals around the world. The PMI has over half a million members, credential holders, volunteers and trained project professionals that operate within 250 chapters in over 70 countries. PMI advocates project, program and portfolio management that can enhance and accelerate organizational change - driving innovation, improving bottom line performance, and strengthening competitive advantage. MainStream GS is a new member of the DC Chamber of Commerce. The DCCC has a long history of helping businesses both large and small. As the leading business organization in the Washington Metro Region, the Chamber serves a diverse membership of over 2,000 individuals. Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce

The Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce has been building a stronger economy and a better business community for more than a century. The Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce was organized and began operations in 1881 as the Cedar Rapids Board of Trade. The Board of Trade became the Cedar Rapids Commercial Club in 1897, then the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce in 1918.

Today, the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of roughly 1,600 members. The Chamber is the community catalyst to enhance and promote economic vitality and quality of life in Linn County. Some of the organization's recent accomplishments include changing the form of local government from a commission form to the city manager/part time council form in 2005, partnering with The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation in 2005 to create the Fifteen in 5 community planning process (the goal is to identify and implement 15 great ideas in Linn County by the year 2010), and successfully leading the Linn County one percent SILO tax campaign in 2007 (The 10-year tax will generate approximately $283 million dollars to pay for basic building and technology needs in the community's schools).
